Try Eating Like Daniel For Better Health (Part 2)

Folks, at this stage, I truly think everyone, even if you have been eating meat all your life, can adapt to this. In addition, consider eating meat every other day.

Furthermore, if you are currently suffering from an ailment or disease, I will recommend that for 30-60 days or thereabout, you abstain from all forms of animal flesh and by-products (clean or not) for the fact that I have pointed out elsewhere that

1. Clean meats are only permissible-not ideal. (Even the Bible has stated that here: )

a. “And your life will I seek, at the hand of every beast will I seek it.” (Genesis 9:5) Again, although it’s truly a rarity to hear of wild animals attacking humans these days, perhaps all the diseases such as High Blood Pressure, Gout, Rheumatism, Asthma and the likes that have been traced to the consumption of meat is an indirect way in which this law (Genesis 9:5) is being put into effect.

b. “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. Of all the land animals, these are the ones you MAY use for food.” Leviticus 11:2 (Not must)

c. “…and you will eat the plants of the field.” Field plants, herbs, roots, leafy vegetables. (This begun in this verse: Genesis 3: 18 Man’s diet has been modified to include leafy vegetables and herbs whose seed is not contained inside or the actual edible yield.)

and finally

d. Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food!” Genesis 1:29

Again, for the masses who want to claim that some verses in the Old Testament have been nullified or whatever, we have adequately gone over why that is NOT correct in this article.

Furthermore, look at this verse: “God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis 1:28

I have observed that when someone says they would rather stay single and not start a family, most people bring up the Genesis 1:28 verse saying “God said to reproduce!!”

Which is indeed very true.

However, how many people obey the very next verse that says what to eat basically?

In addition, why obey one verse and overlook the very next one, especially when the proper fuel/food needed for us to

a. Reproduce & raise disease free families.

b. Subdue the earth and accomplish virtuous and worthwhile goals, as it says in Genesis 1:28, is in Genesis 1:29?

Remember, “Your stomach is your fuel tank, just as your automobile’s tank is its stomach. You wouldn’t think of pouring just any old thing that will pour into the ‘stomach’ of your car. You know that your car was not made to consume and ‘digest’ fuel oil, water, milk, or kerosene.”

We are very meticulous about what we use to ‘feed’ our cars and totally careless, unaware or indifferent about what we feed ourselves and our kids.

Also,  ALL forms of animal flesh are indeed mucus/acid/disease forming, so it’s best to abstain from them if you can and absolutely recommended that NO meats be consumed when one is sick!

Now for those who may find it difficult to give up pork, crabs, catfish (and other unclean animals) I have to ask, must we REALLY eat these meats?

God has been merciful and fair enough to give a plethora of other animals that could be eaten that taste almost just the same (if not better), with lesser harmful effects on the body. Really, clean beef or chicken or salmon (when raised properly) should be able to replace any unclean meats!

Furthermore, Buying properly slaughtered animals is also feasible and permissible as even in biblical times, that was the practice as is illustrated in the following verses:

1 Corinthians 8: 7-8 And 1 Corinthians 10: 25-28, with the understanding that naturally, the meats must have been properly attended to in order to be sold under the strict Jewish laws, so it is safe to say most Kosher (Jewish) Stores should still be adhering to such practices.

However for people in the United States, as is the case with fruits, the catch to being such a developed country is we are no longer in touch with the basics of nature per se (e.g. seedless fruits being available year round!) so for people after improved health, we may have to put in some extra (yet worthwhile) effort to find the right items for consumption. But, it is feasible.

In addition, edible mushrooms, (believe it or not) when baked, broiled or boiled in a sauce, at times do taste like chicken and are indeed nowhere near as harmful as eating flesh.

In fact, they are alkaline forming in the body and according to documented reports, Fungi play a key role in the recycling of many elements. As the primary decomposers in the biosphere, they break down organic matter, including dead plants and other vegetation. As fungi actively decompose materials, carbon, nitrogen, and the mineral components present in organic compounds are released; these elements can all be recycled.

For example, during decomposition, carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere and minerals are returned to the soil.

So, although, they are not ideal for human consumption and should not be abused, during a transition to eating healthier, BOILED, BAKED, GRILLED mushrooms, with sea salt, could be used in place of animal meat.
