The Shocking Rise in Autism Cases May Be Linked To What We Feed Our Children! (Part 2)

Now, as a follow up to our previous article on this subject, when it comes to broadening your kid’s diets, simply take the Biblical advice which says: “Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.” (Proverbs 22:6). Therefore, in regards to eating, stock up the house with PLENTY of fruits (kids apparently love bananas). For example, in the summer, make the home and kitchen full of melons, mangoes, grapes and so on.

Engage them in the washing of the fruits and eat your meals with them. Eventually, they will pick up your habits.

Now, if you are concerned about taking milk out of your diet and that of your family, then I suggest you read up on the information given herewith as to why this would in fact be beneficial.

It is noteworthy that many Americans have been raised to believe that this milk is essential to good health, largely due to the efforts of the American Dairy Association, and many parents seem to believe that it is their duty to feed their children as much cow’s milk as possible. However, lots of perfectly healthy people, including children, do very well without it.

Folks, it should be stated that cow’s milk has been called “the world’s most overrated nutrient” and “fit only for baby cows.” That said, be careful about what you consume and remember that removing dairy means ALL milk, butter, cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, etc. It also includes product ingredients such as “casein” and “whey,” or even words containing the word “casein.” Read labels – items like bread and tuna fish often contain milk products. Even soy cheese usually contains caseinate.

Again, if it’s not grown from the soil and doesn’t have some degree of water content like fruits, green leaf and root vegetables mainly, with emphasis on the first two items of course, we pretty much have no business eating it, especially when facing or trying to prevent any health challenges.

Suffice it to say the Good Lord says is best by saying “…Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.” Ezekiel 47:12

In regards to curtailing autism symptoms naturally with the use of a proper diet, it may seen that many might be willing to try removing dairy products from their child’s diet, but don’t think they could handle removing gluten because they feel they need to eat something grain based.

Well, please re-read this article as to why you may have to remove all grain-based items from your diet. Furthermore, it’s not that hard to substitute sweet fruits, baked or boiled plantains and root vegetables for grain based items.

In regards to grain based items, dear parents, what you need to understand is that for certain autistic children, these foods are toxic to their brains. It is possible that for this group of people with autism, eating these foods is actually damaging the developing brain.

Now, the Autistic Network For Dietary Intervention highly recommends that parents try a gluten-free, casein-free diet for at least 3 months and they say it may take that long to see results, and you should not cheat.

Yes, eating healthy could be challenging, but it can make a tremendous difference.

Now in regards to autism especially, if you go to the following link:

http://www.glutensolutions.com/autism.htm | Google Search Term: “Autism Diet, Resources and Information”, they offer information in regards to receiving phone calls where parents break down in tears as they recount the improvements seen in their child. They claim that it is not at all uncommon to hear reports that an autistic child made eye contact with their parent for the first time, or that he/she was able to attend a “normal” school for the first time.

Nonetheless, I am quick to point out that I am not an affiliate of theirs and this article should not be seen as an endorsement of their website or products. In addition, although they do recommend the gluten free/casein free diet for helping autistic kids, they offer some alternatives , including breads, baking mixes, cookies, crackers, snacks, pastas, and more.

I have to let out a sigh of resignation at this point.

Dear Readers, you can purchase such items if you choose to, but let me suggest to you that you simply eliminate ALL disease forming foods from your kitchen and try to eat unprocessed foods as much as possible. This website says they have had some positive results with their products and that could in fact be true in regards to Autism alone, but what about other diseases?

The ‘products’ I recommend are what the Good Lord and Science says to eat: Mostly Fruits and Vegetables. If you need to, read this article, for the exact reasons why.

Dear Parents, I leave you with these words: With God’s way of healing (including but not limited to eating right, getting adequate sunshine, fresh air, sleep, avoiding harmful products, cleanliness…and prayer for His Mercies to bless our efforts), when one disease is cured IT CURES AND PREVENTS ALL OTHER DISEASES.

Here’s to Great Health and happiness….
