The Power of Positive Affirmations.

Dear Friends, take a look at the following 2 verses from the Holy Bible:

1.  Proverbs 13:2
From the fruit of their lips people enjoy good things, but the unfaithful have an appetite for violence.

2.  Proverbs 18:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

From reading them it is clear to see that what we say or affirm out loud has the tendency to become a reality. This concept can also be applied to one’s thoughts. Therefore, it is recommended that we watch what we say and think.

Admittedly, at times, it may be hard to always think or speak positively, but remember this saying by Og Mandino: “Weak is he who permits his thoughts to control his actions; strong is he who forces his actions to control his thoughts.”

So, if needed take the actions to propel yourself to doing and thinking positively to address any challenges you may be facing or if you simply want to achieve a certain goal.

One such action could be the use of affirmations. These are small but key positive messages to the self. They are used as reminders, helping to keep positive messages at the forefront of our consciousness. It is noteworthy that some are very powerfully reinforced by looking at yourself in the mirror as you speak them.

On a related note, the benefit of positive thinking is medically well established. Affirmations allow you to consciously harness the power of positive thinking and direct it to specific areas of your life that needs attention or where you want to bring about change. Remember, keep using your affirmations on a consistent basis. The more you affirm something, the more your mind will accept it, and the more positive changes you will experience in your life.

Therefore, per the subject field, here are some positive affirmations that you can speak to your life and present circumstances.

•    Today I begin a new life.

•    I will greet this day with love in my heart.

•    I will persist until I succeed.

•    I am nature’s greatest miracle.

•    I will live this day as if it is my last.

•    I will act now.

•    Never again will I pity or belittle myself.

•    I will always greet my days with enthusiasm.

•    Never again will I perform any task at less than my best.

•    Never again will I wait and hope for opportunity to embrace me.

•    Always will I examine each night my deeds of the fading day.

As frequently as you, can speak these sayings aloud. You may also write them and post then in conspicuous places such as the mirror, doors, refrigerator etc.

It is my hope that by using the information in this article, you too can be transformed (or improved) by the renewing of your thoughts, of course working side-by-side with all the other information provided herewith in this book.

“Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” Mark 11:22-25 ESV
