You can always put a smile on an adult’s face if when they tell you their age (age 30 and upwards) you say: “Really, I thought you were about at most this age!”

Oh, the ladies love it!

They tilt their heads to the side and exclaim: “Thank you, that’s so sweet!”

Well, suffice it to say, we all want to stay young and hold on to our youth for as long as we can.

Maybe that’s what accounts for the uses of at times controversial plastic surgeries, botox shots and HGH pills among celebrities who collectively may mirror our innermost selves as a society.

That said, a friend, from an anti-aging perspective, the real question is not whether to exercise, but more importantly, what kind of exercise?

Yes, there are several options but, one stand-out will be the incomparable Yoga.

It is noteworthy of mention that there are three components of a total anti-aging exercise program, which are Flexibility, Strength and Cardiovascular training.

The good news is Yoga Exercises could give you all of those when practiced correctly.

Even the Ancient Tibetan Monks seem to believe this, hence their creation of the 5 Tibetan rites (from the Vinyasa Yoga Style) reputed to be the so-called fountain of youth.

Either way, some yoga poses such as the Sun Salutations, The Shoulder Stand and the Abdominal Lift Exercises in Yoga have been known for centuries to delay aging naturally especially when used in conjunction with its specified diet.

Moreover, the yogic diet is an advocated lifestyle of several experts in the drug-free fraternity and let’s not overlook the relaxation that arises from using Yoga poses, especially the Relaxation Pose.

Still folks, aging is inevitable, it is a part of life.

Even the Bible says in Prov 16:31 “Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained by a righteous life.”

Nonetheless, I understand, you want to hold on to your youth as long as you can, I get it; I feel the same way.

That’s why I do Yoga and try to eat right…(well it helps a lot that I actually like and don’t mind the lifestyle) so in conclusion, I’ll say do the same.
